Deptford Twp. — The Adult Center for Transition (ACT) at Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) will host online information sessions for individuals with developmental and other disabilities, their families and educational professionals interested in the services and programs offered on the College's Cumberland and Gloucester campuses.
RCSJ's Cumberland campus will hold Live Online information sessions on Thursday, Nov. 5, and in 2021 on Thursday, Jan. 28 and Tuesday, Feb. 23. RCSJ's Gloucester campus Live Online information sessions will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17, and in 2021 on Tuesdays, Jan. 26 and Feb. 9. The ACT virtual Live Online Zoom information sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. and are free. Registration is required.
These information sessions will provide details about the College's admissions process, program options and agency links to New Jersey's Division of Developmental Disabilities and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. The mission of the Adult Center for Transition at RCSJ is to afford young adults with disabilities the academic, vocational and socialization skills necessary to become independent and contributing members of society. The program offers two tracks, focusing on workforce readiness and fundamentals of college, and targets academic, social and vocational education.
